From the valet parking, access the hotel lobby via the ramp. From the accessible parking spaces in the top lot, head toward the main building via the middle sidewalk and not the sidewalk parallel to the street as this might be too steep for some people. Accessible route signage is installed and clearly visible and easy to follow.
Doors

Double doors at entrances, conference rooms and guest room doors are all appropriate widths but are heavy to open. All entry door tensions have been loosened for easier opening.

All doors have wide clearances; door hardware is accessible; all thresholds beveled well; signs with tactile and Braille characters are posted at appropriate height. Elevator meets accessibility requirements.
Restrooms

On the Main Floor, accessible restrooms are available and provide grab bars, adequate transfer space and all amenities are within reach. On the Lower Level next to Tamarack Hall, accessible restrooms are also available. All entry door tensions have been loosened for easier opening.
Guest Room

Accessible rooms available with 1 or 2 beds and with roll in showers or tubs. New, high quality transitional shower benches have been ordered and received. Turning and transfer space in restrooms. Doorbells have notification light and fire alarm is both visible and audible. TTY and a phone notification device is available. Full length mirrors provided, curtain controls are within reach and desks are accessible. All doors have had the tension loosened for ease of opening and all closet bars and shelves have been lowered to appropriate heights for ease of access. Temperature controls will be lowered with renovation scheduled for first quarter of 2013. If any of the furniture is blocking access, we will be happy to remove or reposition for you, please let us know!

Tables and chairs in conference rooms are standard and accessible. All dining tables have round bases and provide 26.5” of knee clearance. Spacious routes around tables.

Separate bar area has couch, tables and pool table near bar counter. Our bar area is being re-designed in June 2012 and will feature accessible access at all tables, bars and banquettes. Turning radius will be accommodated upon request.
